SAGE LINE 50

Sage Line 50 is a powerful accounting system, giving businesses efficient stock management, improved cash management, automatic financial reports and easy access to management information - all designed to turn time-consuming accounting chores into simple tasks.   Sage Line 50 also integrates with other products in the Sage range, including Sage Payroll, Sage Personnel,  Sage Manufacturing Suite and Sage ACT! for Sage Line 50, to provide users with a complete business management system. 

Sage has launched the latest version of Sage Instant Accounts and Sage Line 50, its market leading accounting software, both with many new features and greater processing power. Both products have been designed to incorporate new functionality, the majority of which has been requested by the customer, while maintaining ease of use and great value for money. Both products are now available from us at Marda Associates Limited.

New features in Sage Line 50 - version 11:

New Look and Feel - Mirroring the evolution of Microsoft Windows, information is now more closely connected, easier to navigate and there is less need to click between screens. However, users can choose to maintain the classic Sage look and feel if preferred

My Business Set-up - Takes the user through a simple process to tailor the content and layout of screens, ensuring the system suits their particular business needs and therefore increasing usability and efficiency.

Smart Link - Intelligent navigation allows access to all customer and supplier transactions from one screen. View any transaction and 'hot link' to any corresponding information, for example invoices to orders and vice versa, saving time by placing the right information only one click away.

Accounts Analyser - Unlocks information in the Nominal Ledger which underlies the Profit and Loss Summary and Balance Sheet. A simple 'tree' format allows you to drill down to detailed data about the most important accounting areas - sales, purchases, direct expenses etc. De-mystifies accounts by providing easy to understand financial snapshots so you can view and analyse your finances e.g. instant year on year comparisons.

As well as task-based navigation and full Microsoft Office integration, Sage Line 50 also has the following new features:

Audit Assistant - Applies business logic to identify any suspect transactions such as duplication, making sure the books balance and to help businesses prepare for audits. This feature contains a suite of VAT audit reports approved by HM Customs and Excise.

Cash Flow Planner - shows your estimated cash flow as at a glance, helping you plan how best to manage your money. Prioritise payments to suppliers and identify overdue invoices and receipts.

Transaction E-mail - Unique to Sage and now available in every Sage Line 50 program, Transaction E-mail allows users to send and receive quotations, invoices and orders to and from their customers and suppliers, via the web. Information is imported from MS Outlook directly into Sage Line 50, therefore speeding up the purchase order process as well as reducing the chance of error by removing the need to re-key data.

Repeat Orders/Invoices - Schedule invoices and orders at regular intervals without having to retype details - ideal for dealing with recurring bills. Users of Sage Financial Controller can also create recurring sales orders and purchase orders.

Batch conversion of quotes and proformas (Sage Line 50 Accountant Plus & Financial Controller only)  - A single screen now shows all quotations and proformas making it easy to select some and convert them into orders.  This feature is particularly useful if a business regularly deals with a large number of quotations  

Foreign Currency Price Lists (Sage Line 50 Financial Controller only) -  For the first time in Sage Line 50, users can enter customer and supplier price lists in foreign currencies as well as in their normal trading currency.
